Harborview Hills House Design by Laidlaw Schultz Architects

Laidlaw Schultz Architects have developed Harborview Hills in Corona del Mar, California.

With a passion for contemporary architecture and an overseas understanding of style, the property owners approached Laidlaw Schultz Architects attempting to get something unique and ideal for their expanding family. The household’s calm street setting gives no indication from the strong coastal views accessible from indoors, and also this feeling of revelation has become the starting level to make the style and design.

A easy line separating public from individual, the primary move about which your home begins, gets under way the dialogue. This wall is punctuated by using a sliding panel and is particularly then drawn to as much as reveal the striated walnut garage door that proceeds the basic.

The woven-steel panel stands out as the gateway for the inside courtyard and private dominion. As seen from in the courtyard, the enceinte transforms into an exterior fireplace and backdrop to the glass-like swimming pool. A wall of foliage on one particular finish provides a panel of green to complement the shimmering orange water; on similar end, a constant fountain creates a soothing soundtrack.

The house alone can take good thing about these two exterior spaces, internal courtyard and exterior view, which has a wrapper of sliding doors that, when open, turn your home into an out of doors pavilion.

A juxtaposition of lacquered cabinetry set next to painted brick surfaces, and aged fire wood surfaces against stark white walls further emphasize the balance of sophistication and style that make up this home.
